Botled commercial cider.
In 2005 Westons celebrated their 125th Anniversary. Henry Weston began the business in 1880. '1880' is a premium pale amber cider full of flavour resulting from the careful blending of a number of selected ciders. Rich and fruity with a long lingering finish.

Bottle. Aroma of apples and yeast. Clear yellow colour with very small white head. Slightly sour apple flavour with a dry finish. Hints of wwod. Medium carbonation.

Clear light to medium yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet apple, vanilla notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, dry. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20100508]

Bottle. No head. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are bitter apples, vinegar and a bit astringent. But still nice and dry.

A darker cider with light carbonatation. Pleasant apple cider aroma, with tart apples, a bit of funk. In mouth, a good sweetish cider, with light puckering harshness. Medium bodied.

Bottle, Morrisons. Yellow colour, some white lacings. Aroma of sour apple. Taste is dry and sour apple, some earthyness. Dry finish.

Bottle at Københavnske Øldage 2009. Clear yellow coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of apples, apple core and wood. Fruity flavour of apples and apple core with notes of wood. Tart finish.

Clear yellow with small, fizzy head. Medium sweet apple, pear aroma. Mellow, medium dry apple flavors with moderate acidity. Warming fruity liqueur finish with dry feel. Decent cider.

Bottled@Black Door, Helsinki. Golden colour, no head. Aroma is green apples and also some slight cheesy notes. Flavour is enormous apples and wood. Very dry and nice. Once it warms up it also gets a lot of vanilla to it.

Bottle. No head. Clear and lovely golden body. Dry sour apple aroma. Not as acidic as vinegar though. Flavor also dry sour apples with a long aftertaste. Moderate carbonation. Would not have guessed on such a high alcohol percentage. I guess I am beginning to like cider !
