Rated as Marcle Hill Cider. Tapped from a box, ½Pint for £1.08 at Wetherspoon-pub in Derry. This cider is dry in the beginning, smooth and slightly tart. The mainpart is smooth, sweetish and not really tart. The aftertaste is juicy, appley. 10/12/9/10

Bought in 500ml bottle as Morrison’s Medium Dry Cider. Really nothing to distinguish this from many other ciders on the market but at only £1 per bottle it’s not to be sniffed at. Dry green apples to the fore. Quite fizzy but not overly.

Cask / Bag in a Box @ Euston Cider Tap. Reading the ratings I’m not entirely sure if this is the same cider but this is where ratebeer directed me. So. This has some pretty interesting flavours with a prominent vanilla character and possibly a little caramel from the oak. Dry, yet smooth with possibly a little rum coming through. Again, a very interesting blend and one I wouldn’t mind re-visiting on my return to the Cider Tap.

rauchbier (3596) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle, from Morrisons (Morrisons Medium Dry Cider). Yellow gold, thin, fizzy shortlived white head, moderate condition. Slightly woody apple in the nose, some spirity notes. Quite full in the mouth with a gentle sweet apple note and a slight pineapple tang of citrus, short apple sweet finish leaving the mouth with someoiliness

Easy drinking cider that tastes of green bitter sweet apples but not too tart, very refreshing when chilled and excellent value for a supermarket own brand cider.

Bottle from Morrisons. Pale yellow cider. Aroma of apple juice. Taste is slightly tart apples, sweetener and apple peel. Not great but drinakable, maybe OK over ice on a hot day.

GBBF 2013 backlog. CASK. Colour: intense straw-yellow, clear. Aroma: faint fermented fruit aroma. Taste: fruit/apples, a bit of apple skin character. Overall quite sweet and very little of that vinegar/acetone character.

Handpump @ the Cradock Leicester. Ripe apple and oaky aroma. Pale golden colour. Taste is ripe apple, slightly woody. Smooth but not very satisfying mouthfeel. Drinkable but normal. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
