Had@The Angel, London. Yellowish golden colour, no head. Aroma is tart but sweet apples along with some slight cheesyness. Flavour is quite much the same, a bit emptypalated, otherwise ok.

Mockbeggar JDW, Moreton. Clear golden colour. Sweetish apple aroma. Clean tasting with medium sweetness and some dryness in the finish. Not bad.

A Mes rate. Cask handpull at Baker Street ’Sporks.
Pretty decent you know. Looks a bit whimpish but there us some good sharpness in the flavour and a pleasant dry finish. Massively drinkable too. Enjoyable

Cask (handpump) @ The Bankers Draft, 1–3 Market Place, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England S1 2GH. [ As Westons Marcle Hill Cider ].
Clear medium yellow orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate apple, fruity, caramel notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average to long duration. Refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090418]

Bag in a box at Muggletons, JDW, Maidstone. Slightly commerical cider aroma. Some apple but mostly cardboard. Having drunk a lot of proper cider this is so bad it’s comical.

Served as Hughie sets out at the Knights Templar (JDW), Bristol 16/4/09. Pale gold with slight carbonation. Muted apple aroma. Easy drinking with plenty of fruit and a lingering, sweet finish. Ok.

On tap at Bankers Draft, Bedford (JDW) in ’Spoons Real Ale Festival, April ’09. Oddly this was advertised by a pumpclip on a handpump. It was actually served from a box in the fridge which meant there was virtually no aroma. Clear gold. Pleasant sweet apple taste with a little sourness. No dryness. Uncomplicated easy drinking cider.

Cask at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Golden. Faint, slightly sour aroma. Very gentle sweet apple taste with minimal sourness and bitterness. Very easy drinking cider. Not terribly exciting.
