Pours clear and golden orange with a immediately disappearing white head. Smooth and dry phenol apple aroma. Sweet apple flavour. Light phenol and mild yeasty note, although minor. Aroma is moderate vinegar, oak, apple, sweet. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic with a average duration. Aroma is mild alcohol, some apple, vanilla, wood and some slight notes of champagne. Flavour is brutal wood, grass, dry champagne, mild apples and some vanilla kicking in in the finish. A bit more woody than the regular (Medium Dry) one, and just more harsh at the end. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Jan 29, 2006 Bottle from Sainsbury. Pale gold, no head. Some rubber upfront, but then fresh apple fruit aroma. Carbonation in mouth is ok. Bit more rubber, but some nice apple/peach flavour. Finish has some intense syurupy fruit and good dryness. Above average commercial cider. But then what do I know about cider?
