Attractive deep gold in colour, ripe juicy apples on the nose, cant notice any oak , but old oak wont really contribute much to the nose or flavour so that’s no surprise. Smooth palate, juicy mouthfilling flavour, not particularly dry, but has good acidity, top quality cider.

500ml bottle (Hell Hunt, Tallinn)
Clear golden cider, slightly fizzy, but no head. Dry fruity aroma, quite subdued. Mellow apple taste, quite sharp, not too cartoony at all. Fairly sweet, balances the sourness, but not at all sticky. Reasonable finish reflects the earlier tastes.

Bottle in Ulfborg - shared with Mette & Jytte. Clear golden - white head. High apples, sweetness, sweet apples, light resin, light alcoholic notes, oakey, light wood, light sour notes, light dry notes. Nice.

Mmmm, alcohol soaked apples, my favourite!
With all the subtleties of a kick in the bollocks, this was actually a lot easier to drink than most modest strength ciders. Poured into a pint glass, quite cool but not chilled. Obscure looking, extra large bubbles burst to the surface in a clockwise eddy forming a dense ring of froth on the meniscus. The body of cider a painfully pale, clear gold with a tinge of yellow. Fresh, in fact very fresh, well rounded and doughy soft-pulped apple nose with just a touch of acidic prickle. Soft in the mouth, but lacking in subtleties. A pleasant level of sweet juicy apples with a touch of pear softness starts it off before it dries right out and is all alcohol (apple wine!) down the back and through to the astringent and dry swallow that shows just a touch more fruit. Body fills out and it’s well rounded flavourwise, and besides being almost bi-polar (flavour one side, alcohol the other) it’s very well balanced. I liked it, nothing extraordinary but it went down a charm for a high ABV cider. (50cL, BBE 01/08, Jandakot Liquor)

A hardcore cider. Even though it’s very alcoholic it’s quite refreshing. You can taste that this is a high quality cider.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with plenty of visible fizz. Pretty nice apple aroma, not too sweet. Fruity and fairly sweet flavour with some earthiness and noticable warming alcohol in the finish. Pleasant mouthfeel. Good.
