Commercial Description:
This dry cider is produced from the finest bittersweet cider apples and has been specially fermented in old oak vats. After careful blending the cider has been bottled adding a small amount of sugar and some vigorous yeast. This live cider is then fermented for a second time and allowed to mature in the bottle for a fuller, fresher flavour.

Bottle conditioned, from Morrisons, Grimsby. Cloudy lemon yellow, no head, good soft condition. Sharp fruity apple citrus with a hint of earthiness in the aroma, gentle chalky citrus sweetness in the mouth with a gentle apple skin dryness and some distant woodiness, lingering apple citrus finish with a touch of smoke.

Yellowish water. The aroma has a light nutty touch. But the flavor is a bit dry, too harsh.

Bottle from Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam. Pale lemon yellow coloured, no head. Delicate apple nose, sourness like a gueuze, nice. Very faint flavour though, some apple, a bit like a sweet white wine. Thin mouthfeel. Disappointing.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with no carbonation. Aromas are spritzy lemon and yeast with noticeable yeast. Woody and dry with some rum. Flavours are yeasty and dry with lemon barley water. Not much in terms of apple. Still, its crisp and refreshing.
