This popular award winning traditional Scrumpy strong cider is naturally cloudy and medium dry in flavour! It was named after our 1921 Aveling Porter Steam Engine, which has found rest in our Henry Weston Garden which is open to the public all year round!

Excellent cider--great tart sourness with a lively and slightly carbonated fruitiness, completely hiding its powerful 7.3% abv. Nice find in Estonia indeed

UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear pale golden color, small white head. Aroma is lightly apple, apple peel, some sweetness. Taste also has apple, sweetness, applepeel. Remember my father sawing wood, the aroma resembles that freshly sawed wood.

Bottle: Served in a Shaker glass: Thin lively white head that disappears pretty fast. Leaves a thin ring on top of a hazy yellow colored cider. Aromas of yellow apples, fermented apples, yeast, cellar, dust, stone, wilder yeast, cellar, some brett, manure, some letter and a hint of something vanilla alike. Flavours of wilder yeast, rubber, fermented apples, light sweet, more bitter with a ligh tart edge, some earth and cellar, light spice yet clean, yeast, brett, light dusty, malty, mostly red apples and some peach and a sprinkle of flowers. Aftertaste is bitter, yeasty, earthy with apples and a light malty apple touch. Low to medium carbo, light creamy lighter watery texture, medium bodied and a light creamy texture. Impressive, very nice cider!
