2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thanks to Are for sharing a 500ml bottle. Hazy yellow-gold body. No head whatsoever. Ripe apples on the nose, mid-sweet. Taste of apple tartness followed by a tart and sweet finish. Semi-dry in the mouth. Soft carbonated. Rather refreshing. Even though I’m not a cider drinker, I could easily drink and appreciate smaller amounts of this one (hotel room in Derby, 22.02.2015).

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle from Tesco. Pours hazy vibrant yellow, no head, but quite high carbonation. Unusual for a cider in not smelling very apple-y. Some white wine and light oak. Taste is dry, light sour. Very drinkable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy pale yellow color, thin white head. Lots of sediment. Nicely looking cider. Aroma of wine, wood and just a hint of apples. Taste is moderately to highly sweet with acidic finish. Drinkable, but not something I would buy regularly.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle 330ml. Pours slightly cloudy bright yellow with green tint. No head. Aroma of sweet apples, wine and yeast, also some bread. Tastes slightly sweet, then quite sour with nice interchanging sweet-sour tastes play. Some strong tannin and pleasant bitter sweet after taste. Flavor of fresh green apple, white wine, tannin, sour apple, strong umami, almost meaty, some yeast, wood. Very much like an apply wine. Not bad but not too interesting. It does have some complexity. Mouth feel is creamy with light carbonation. After taste is very pleasant, wine, umami and cheesy.
