COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Westons Organic Cider is produced using only locallygrown organic cider apples. Using tradional methods, including fermentation in ols oak vats, it is made under the strict conditions imposed by the Soil Association, meeting Organic Certification - UK5. These methods and conditions result in an easy to drink cider at 6.5% vol., with a ripe apple aroma and a refreshing well balanced taste.

Bottle from a Weston’s giftpack, purchased at the LCBO. Bright golden colour with light carbonation. Strong apple aroma with some mild woody notes, a bit of funkiness, and a hint of alcohol warmth. Flavour of apples, of course, with a mellow funky tartness, and a short, dry finish. Certainly better than the industrial canned ciders, but still not a sock-knocker-offer.

Pours light gold with a green apple aroma. The flavor is sweet and fairly light with plenty of green apple flavor. It’s light bodied, refreshing, and a very average cider.

Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet apple, overriped apple, wood - oak notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, dry, oaj - wood dry. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100415]

500ml bottle Lively pale yellow body Aroma is somewhat funky; sour and rotten apples, spice, smokey woodiness. Much the same on the body with cheesy oak and charred oak lingering on a dry finish. Full bodied otherwise with masked alcohol. Very different sort of cider, quite enjoyable unique flavour.

Bottle at home. Clear golden coloured with a very fast disappearing white head. Fruity aroma of apples, apple peel and wood. Flavour of apples, apple core, rotten apples, wood and blue cheese. Tart finish.

Bottle. Beautiful clear amber body. Acidic grapefruit like aroma almost vinegar. Sweet flavor of apples but with a nice and long lasting acidity. Low carbonation.

Bottle, thanks to CapFlu. Clear gold, very little head. Moderate sulfites, crab apple, and juice in aroma. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Simple flavors. Thin finish. Apple and pear entry with sulfur, salt, and wet wood.
