from the box @ Fishing Shack, Paphos. Aroma is chardonnay and grass. Thin. Could use a lot more flavor. Reminds me of a cheap white wine.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 downender (5191) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2010

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 harrisoni (10911) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2010
Bag in box at Thomas Ingoldsby, JDW, Canterbury. Gold/orange colour with no head. It’s what scrumpy cider used to taste like when my Dad used to buy some for our static caravan holiday home when we were in Somerset. Some stewed apple, some bruised apple flesh. Touch of wood which is quite attractive. Some dryness on finish. Fine.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Leighton (6961) - London, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2010
Draught at The Windsor Castle. Pours a light honey, clear with scattered bubbles on the surface. Some mildly dank apples haunt the aroma, mixing it up with alcohol and floral notes. Flavor is moderately sweet with some odd vegetals and bits of booze. There are some subtle wood notes and strong ripe apple presence. Light to medium in body with fizzy carbonation. Finish is sweet, lightly warming, and with some mild dryness in the aftertaste.

Cask, Old Harkers Arms, Chester. Good looking vivid darkish orange colour. Sweetish ripe apple nose. Smooth mouthfeel. Tasty fruit in the flavour with the oak aging showing up also. however . Very drinkable with the ABV quite skilfully masked. Nice cider.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 FatPhil (7498) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 24, 2010
Draught (Drink, Tallinn)
First hand pull in Estonia! Lovely rich orange, clear and no head. Lovely
sharp fruity aroma, a touch sour, but not acidic, if that makes sense.
Rich full sweet fruity taste, but with a dry bite to it that crispens
things up beautifully - nice and woody. The palate is so dry it sends
shivers down my spine, but there’s no harshness at all. A stunning
filtered cider.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Alphadelic (1630) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 25, 2010
Still, bright gold. Woody apple aromas. Watery then.a good hit of dry flavour, a sour tinge and then hints of sweetness. A little bland throughout but it takes in a good variety of tastes.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Svesse (5197) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2009
(Cask at Penderel’s Oak JDW, Holborn, London, 6 Aug 2009) Golden colour with no head. Fruity nose with notes of apples and a certain acidity. Fruity taste with apples and some tartness. More than medium body, slightly harsh with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced with a fresh apple character and some warming alcohol in the finish. Nice one.
