yespr (5611), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 7, 2008 From tap at Charlies. Pours clear and golden yellow with no head. Light phenol apple aroma. Flavour is sweet at first before a solid phenol and woody almost smoke note shows through. Light acidic finish with a lingering woody note mixed with a light apple fruity note. Dry phenol and woody into the very far finish. Nice. thewolf (3392), Kolding, Denmark Apr 6, 2008 Draught @ Charlie’s Pub, Cph.
Pours a great deep golden with a very small bubbly head. Aroma is sweet, lovely apple and light dryness. Very low carbonation - almost nothing. Flavour is quite sweet apple at first. No trace of the alcohol. Dries out well and warms nicely. sm89walt (168), Norwich and Canterbury, Norfolk, England Nov 25, 2007 Cask - Wetherspoons, Canterbury. This is a golden orange cider with no head. Its aroma is of very sweet and sugary apples. The taste is quite similar, however a slight sharpness contrasts with the sweetness. It’s rather like apple juice in its sweetness and because of how thin on the palate it is, that’d not to say that it’s overly thin, but for the strength I expected something a touch fuller. A fairly simple, smooth and refreshing cider. Rastacouere (5202), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Sep 26, 2007 Appearance

ALLOVATE (1108), Perth, Australia Sep 3, 2007 Ciders equivalent to ‘Goon’. This one came in a 2 litre, cask bag so I served it up neat at room temperature which turned out to be right on the money. It pours a translucent honey gold. Bares a hefty, sugared, pickled apple nose – quite pronounced for a still cider, and just a little spicy. Lovely, silky mouthfeel, a little prominent green apple acidity, rather sweet overall and very fresh in flavour. Subtle astringency on the swallow, tangy, sweet/sour mix with good, clean ‘apple pulp’ flavours lingering long. Very easy going this, no complexity here, just straight-up ol’ cidery fun. I liked it, though the cask didn’t last near long enough. (2L, Jandakot liquor, 20/11/07)
