Maria (3788), Thisted, Denmark Mar 2, 2008 Warm orange-golden with no head. The aroma is slightly sweet with notes of apple and basement. The flavour is sweetish and it has loads of musty apples (in an OK way), it’s refreshing and has a very low bitterness, but the finish is rather dry and sweet. It’s nice. Comments: One of the best Westons I’ve had with an honest dryness and a woody, tight palate with better extracted apple flavours than most of their other products.
imdownthepub (3937), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Jun 2, 2007 Bottled. Green gold with no head, carbonated. Thin but reasonable cider. Citric, tart dry. Served in Carpenters Arms, Walterstone, hereford. MiP (4744), Flensburg, Germany Jan 13, 2007 Bottle. Clear golden colour, no head. Citric aroma. Very nice apple flavour, citric and appleish. The aftertaste, however, is like that in cheap cider. Good pepperiness. GarethYoung (1108), Glasgow, Scotland Dec 1, 2006 [Bottle from peckhams] Aroma of ripe apples, some wood, a little spicey, sugary. Full bodied, pretty sweet, some dryness, and a little tart, not enough to balance sweetness.
