ciderguy (97), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 20, 2003 A fine, genuine English Perry. As to be expected it pushes the envelope on how much sweetness one can tolerate. A crisp pear flavor, with a subtle alcohol aftertaste. As pale a cider as I've ever seen, but not distracting from the experience. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Feb 28, 2005 Polypin @ South Western Arms, Soton. Completely clear. Quite full body. A fruity, smoky solvent nose. M,edium sweet in a pleasant toffeeish fashion. Quite nice. Thure (132), Aalborg, Denmark Jun 15, 2007 Golden colour with hardly any head. Got a Champagne/white wine nose. The flavor is sweet with the well known cidery sourness to it. The aftertaste is of sweet fruit. Sigmund (1961), Hafrsfjord, Norway Jan 22, 2007 330 ml brown bottle, bought at Vaaland Ølutsalg, Bryne. ABV is 4.5%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, sparkling when poured but very little carbonation in the glass. No head. Lovely aroma and flavour of fermenting pears and apples, notes of oak. Quite sweet. I like it, but one bottle is enough. Might buy again though, probably palatable for guests who don’t like beer.
