COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and Keg. May also appear as Westons Premium Irish Style Cider, or as Westons Cider Ice when served through a special pump which dispenses a mixture of cider and frozen cider ice. Not to be confused with Westons Premium Organic Cider.
A contemporary cider with the classic pedigree of a traditional cider maker. Rich amber coloured with a ripe apple aroma and a medium dry taste. Matured in old oak vats to produce a quality cider with a refreshing, crisp apple flavour. Highly carbonated for maximum thirst quenching; deliciously refreshing served over ice.

It is warm golden and the aroma is mild with notes of apple and wood. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of apple, apple peel, light wood and a light apple sourness. It is mild and uncomplicated and not very strong.

Bottle at home. Clear golden coloured with a fast disappearing head. Fruity aroma of apples and apple core with notes of rotten apples. Fruity flavour of apples, apple core and wood. Woody finish, but watery. Fizzy palate. Boring.

09/04 Draught at Tolkien’s House, Zagreb. It poured darker amber body with no head, weak carbonation anyway. Sourish apple and a bit white whine aroma. Fine. Flavor was nice, natural like it’s made from fresh apples, sourish for sure and a bit sweetish. Not too watery as well, but very refreshing. Long apple, sour-dry finish. Liked this one, although there are better around.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2009 "Westons Premium Cider", 4.5% at the Portal pub in Zagreb
Poured a orange (copper?) body with no head and a few bubbles clinging to the edges of the glass the only form of carbonation visible. Low, sourish appley nose, a bit corky. THe taste is sweetish, some light cork, citric sourness, apples of course, sourish aftertaste. A light and pleasant cider, maybe too "ordinary" but a pleasant drink.

Bottled@SBWF2008. Yellowish colour, no head. Aroma is sour apples, some mild vanillaish and wooden notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild sourness and herbal notes kicking in.
