downender (2528), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Oct 31, 2009 Bottle from Sainsburys. Pale yellow in colour with slight carbonation. Light, sweet pear fruit aroma with a hint of wood. Flavour also started sweet, with a touch of syrup in the mouth, more dessert pear fruit, finishing with a dry edge. Ok. robinvboyer (1419), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Oct 29, 2009 Nice aroma of sweet pears and brown sugar. Flavor is light and crisp with some great pear and floral notes. A quite enjoyable Perry. oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Oct 10, 2009 Bottled. Pale golden colour, no head. Aroma is sweet pear, some apple, mild spices and also mild wooden notes. Flavour is very fruity (actually just not only pears and apple), mild wood as well as some slight earthyness. Even though it’s 6 % it feels rather watery. To the sweeter side anyway... FatPhil (3443), Espoo, Finland Sep 3, 2009 500ml bottle (Kaisla, Helsinki)
Bugger all aroma, served very cold. Sharp almost sherbetty taste, some candifloss. Fruitiness subdued to the extreme, and rather boring. Improves as it warms, but very sweet. Bland. Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Aug 18, 2009 It is golden and the aroma has notes of pear, wood and hints of apple. The flavour has sweetness and notes of pear, wood, light apple and the overall impression is a mild and quite pleasant perry. hughie (3016), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jun 21, 2009 Pale gold.
