amfenlon (5), ipswich, England does not count Apr 26, 2008 not very big on aroma, but pleasant enough, a nice golden colour but what it lacked in aroma it made up for in taste lots of flavour and a very smooth palate with no lingering after taste, best cider i have drunk this year so far Beer Snob (356), Ontario, Canada Apr 6, 2008 My favourite cider.
Pale yellow and headless when poured. Acidic aroma and a nice tartness. Thin mouthfeel, but a nice fruity aftertaste. HogTownHarry (3285), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jun 18, 2006 Item #2 at June 2006 Toronto cider/mead -fest - bottle from Doug. Poured clear pale gold, pretty much no head, some bubbling. The aroma really grabbed me with this one, had a mild near-lambic funky sourness to it, some apple and what seemed a hint of yeastiness. Taste was pretty much just okay - fresh tart apple with a hint of off-dry white wine - simple and refreshing with a quick finish; the scores here seem a tad harsh. Light body, slightly carbonated and slightly sticky - excellent value - available at the LCBO for about $6. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 5, 2008 66 cL clear bottle. Pours clear yellow with no head. Phenol dry apple aroma. Flavour is sweet with a mild acidic and smoked/woody touch. Finish is fresh citric with a lingering smoked like note. tupalev (2311), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 18, 2006 Bottle, I think they’re bringing this in to the LCBO now. Funky lambic like aroma - not sure if that is on purpose. I liked it though! Darker yellow, small white head. Very dry taste, not terribly flavorful. That funkiness in the aroma lingers in the finish. Ok, still refreshing.
