UPDATED: NOV 26, 2010 440ml can from M&S. That it has come to this? Buying 11 new rates from M&S in Liverpool just because they are cheap?? Yes, well there you go when you have unimaginative supermarket beer buyers. Clear gold, no head. Some boiled apple on the aroma. Some commercial cider flavour. Itís not horrid, but I am just so disappointed by this. Itís fine, not too sweet, some dryness, but it just doesnít go anywhere. but fine. Re-rate its not that bad. Drinkable decent fruit flavour not to sweet. Fine

Can. A light golden cider with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of apples - and not much more. The flavor is sweet with notes of apples as well as a bit of acid, leading to a lightly tart finish.
Earlier Rating: 7/26/2005 Total Score: 2.9
A yellow beer with a fast disappearing head. Both the aroma and the flavor are sweet and dominated by apples, the end is dry. An OK cider.

Can, 4.5%. Almost no aroma. Clear pale yellow colour. The flavour is very subtle. Watery flavour, tastes like cider with a lot of water. I wonder how they kept the ABV so high with so little flavour.

Draught. Clear yellow colour. Nice and sweet, very slightly acidic apple flavour. Not the worst cider I have had.

Can 44 cl. Clear yellow with a dissipating white head. Very discreet appley aroma. Light body, dominated by citric acid while the apples are subdued and only a vague memory. Ends almost sour. Poor excuse for a cider. 190210

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear golden with a rough white head. Fresh, acidic apple aroma. Medium body with sweet apple notes and a light acidity in the finish. Very drinkable. 040408

[On tap at Sweeney & Toddís, Reading] My cider-drinking friends rave about this stuff, so I thought Iíd give it a go. It pours pale gold and fizzy, with a small rapidly dissipating white head. Fortunately the fizz is less aggressive on the mouth than the eye. Taste is rather sour/vinegary, with some slight metallic notes, but itís definitely more drinkable than most of its mass-market rivals - itís quite dry, light and refreshing in fact. So, not a total write-off, but still nothing to write home about.

On tap at the Lady Luck, Canterbury. Clear, effervescent orange colour with the faintest touch of a head with no longevity. Acidic apple nose. Sweet apple flavours with a dry, sweetish finish.

0.33l bottle bought at the Culinaris in Budapest
Poured a golden body with a white head that went away immediately. Soft appley nose, lightly sour, some cork. Soft and slightly dry taste, sweetish, apple again, light cork, some sourness, without much character but kinda pleasant. Light sourish green apple like aftertaste. Drinkable and would make a nice "entry" cider.
