ComradeK (731) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - JAN 28, 2011
500ml bottle. Pours a clear medium gold. The aroma is very fruit-driven, with lots of sweet apple and not a whole lot else. There is a bit of tartness to start, but it soon blends into a sweet fruity finish. The palate is neither too dry nor too cloying. Not the world’s most interesting cider, by a long shot, but it has a reasonable sweet-dry balance, and would be a passable easy drinker, if it wasn’t so hard to find.

500ml can. Clear, golden pour with a faint ring of lace. Apples on the nose, with a light spicy note. Fairly dry with an apple pie feel to the taste. Prickly quality. Much better than I expected from a tall boy of cider.

500ml can. clear and has an almost liquid honey like appearance. Apple aroma and a hint of kitchen spices. Cider flavour and a slight sweet finish. Enjoyable.

Pale fizzy golden. Nose is applejuice, the taste is more applejuice with pleasantly crisp acidity, no over-the-top sweetness. Refreshing and very drinkable.

tap on 7/3/11 - appearance - clear gold with no head. Aroma is crisp green apples. Taste is in the sweet/tart end of the spectrum. Body is thin, but the tartness lingers nicely.

Pretty uninspiring cider on draught, sweet, fizzy, the cider version of lolly water.

This was my first cider, and i think the last as well. It’s a good refreshing drink, but not a beer.

Bottle. Dry and medium dry indeed, apple taste, easy drink, light yellow and light sweet drink

Quite sweet with a dry finish. Not a bad cider and there are worse out there, more acceptable than woodpecker or strongbow.

Draught. Golden colour. Aroma is apples. Flavour is on the sweet side, not overly sweet though, with notes of apples. Not bad, but a bit boring.
