ciderguy (97), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 17, 2002 This was certainly one of the better UK ciders I’ve had in quite sometime. As the name implies, with it being a medium dry, its not too offensive relative to the all too common heavy alcohol aftertaste with most English dry ciders. It drank rather easily was probably a little sweeter than most UK ciders I’ve had. Not sure that I could readily identify the dry aspect of it. Worth trying if you come across it. Mads Langtved (2246), København K, Denmark Aug 19, 2002 Nice cider. I had it draught. A little watery but refreshing. A litlle bitter. Very sweet and clear. Miksu (1286), Jyväskylä, Finland Sep 29, 2008 0.33 l bottle. Golden color. Ripe apple aroma with wood and cinnamon. Same goes for flavor with good balance between acidity and sweetness. Easy drinking yet tasty. rauchbier (2874), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Mar 17, 2008 Bottle, apple gold, no head and minimal condition. Gentle shitty apple in the nose, low smokey apple skin in the mouth with a background sweetness providing some balance and a gentle smokey fruitiness in the finish
JoeMcPhee (3807), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Oct 30, 2007 Tap. Pale orange-gold colour. No head and moderate carbonation. Aroma is very tannic and full of apple skins. Flavour has a bit of wildness, but in both appearance and aroma, it would be tough to separate this from Magner’s. Soft apple character with a light sweetness and a touch of herbal character. Quite a nice cider.
