Bottle. Yellow. A bit of rubberish glue-y notes with a bunch of horse blanket and hay. Fruity apples, some tart. Dry and a bit bitter. Somewhat thin.

Hazy yellow, and the etched glass gives constant tiny bubbles, which I guess does make it look better, but is just flattening the drink. Whatever. Pleasant fruity aroma. Crisp palate, refreshing carbonation. Apple quite muted, quite dry. More appley as it warms, sweeter too, in fact it heads off in the directiojn of toffeeapple in the finish. Nice one.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a a pale golden colour with a small white head and loads of bubbles. Aroma of sweet red apples, honey and butterish notes. Flavour is packed with oak, really dry apples and smoked ham(!). Leaves a weird sticky layer in your mouth. No sweetness whatsoever. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a dry wood finish. A weird, rather unique cider.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 07/2014
Aroma is quite light with somewhat ripe apples, some leathery and earthy notes. Flavour is rather dry with slightly sour apples, leathery notes and hints of urinal cake. The flavour fades out rather quickly. Dry and leathery finish. A cider that lacks sweetness totally, would probably work fine on a hot summer day.

Bottle, Morrisons, Scunthorpe. Hazy lemon yellow, no head and low condition. Muted apple notes in the aroma, along with a touch of lemony citrus, quite sweet yet thin in the mouth with lemon citrus more apparent than apple, some slight woodiness in the finish although the lemon notes are never lost.
