Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 3, 2007 Bottled. A golden cider with a rim of white head. The aroma is sweet and tart with strong notes of apples. The flavor is quite tart with strong notes of apples as well as some notes of wood, and apple core. Quite refreshing. Papsoe (10498), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 17, 2006 (Bottle 100 cl) Clear, fully golden with a distinct, tart apple aroma. Good, solid body. Rather ashy dryness and a weak underlying sweetness. Somewhat rustic, earthy notes. Drinkable, but not really thrilling. 110206 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 1, 2008 1L bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with an immediately disappearing white head. Aroma is dry, phenol and crisp apple. Flavour shows an initial sweetness which soon gains a nice dry phenol note providing wood like notes. Shows a more bitter and acidic flavour towards the finish. Phenol and dry wood notes reappear at the back of the nose. Nice one. Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 4, 2006 Bag in a box. Golden colour with no head. Light sweet acid apple aroma and a alcoholic, acid, sweet apple , wood taste. Medium body with a dry finish. Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Sep 26, 2007 Appearance

Comments: Sweet attack that dries out a fair bit, but without the necessary sourness. Very simplistic.
