Bottled (filtered).
This premium cider is fermented and matured in old oak vats from a single year's crop of cider apples. It is a strong cider with a very high bitter-sweet juice content which gives a full rich fruit character.

Bottled version - 2006 version with 8.2% alcohol %. Tart and champagne like apple aroma. Typical cider appearance, light golden colour and highly carbonated. Sharp and bitter appleskin flavour with a slightly warming bitter finish. Decent cider.

Bottle from Morrison in Newport shared with McTapps. Simple cider with a bit too much of sourness and little less aroma than expected. Apples, some lemons, bit watery for that high ABV. Still a good job done but not outstanding.

Aliased bottle as Morrisons Vintage Cider 2013 bought at Morrisons in Newport. Pours out in a light clear golden colour with medium body. Aroma of mild apple juice. Taste of red apples, caramel, leaves and light sour green apples. Dry and crisp finish. Quaffable and easy drinkable - enjoyed it.

Bottle from waitrose drunk on the train to Canterbury. God knows what it looks like as I am drinking this on a train out of the Bottle. Apple skin yeast and apple pie aroma. It’s fine. I quite like the spritzy apple skin flavour. Some sweetness slightly tannic. Some aged effect from the more complex apple flavours. Yep ok if too sweet

Bottle from Waitrose in Balham. Colour is clear amber, white bubbles that dissipates quickly. Nose is sweet fresh apples, little apple tannin, little sugary, subtle dryness. Taste is great balance of sweet and tart which shades into sweet, with a bit of dry apple tannin and fruit sweetness.
