Aroma of light bread dough some light fruits banannas and a touch of black pepper some other light spices as well. Very mellow and well blended. Light fluffy palate coats well. Flavor is a little disapoint some light fruity notes possibly some bananna and hints of bread then a bitter dry grass and metallic component that leaves a not so great aftertaste. I would much rather have the other westy products, but this aint to shabby.
As the beer warms closer to room temperature more of the spices and peppery notes come through in the flavor and the mettalic taste seems to die down if not dissapear. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 20, 2007 Small white head. Pale yellow body with carbonation. Sweet tropical fruit aroma with slightly metallic hop notes. Not that much aroma. Bitterish fruity taste with metallic hop tinge. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dry, bitter metallic aftertaste with flat, almost papery background and peppery notes. Lots of taste, yet still quite light; soft, yet harsh; this is a strange beer. Quite nice. (0.33l bottle.) | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2007 Bottle. Tasting 12-01-2007 (Søren, Peter, Carsten). To celebrate my #250. Impressive Belgian Ale I must say. Average creamy white head that was mostly diminishing. Good lacing. Body was cloudy with heavy particles. Kind of light orange color. Aroma was complex with notes of grain, hay, flowers, grass, citrus, orange, sweat, leather, soap, banana, clove and coriander as some of the dominant notes. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with an average bitter-sweet finish. Quit impressive. moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 9, 2007 Smells and looks just like a wit normally does. Full mouthfeel. Light spices and a definite earthy flavor. You can pick out the yeasty Westy flavor profile in a second. Spices don’t overpower this one, and it is very refreshing. yespr (12443), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 5, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours almost white/clear but becomes slightly yellow. Clear fruity aroma with yeast elements. Carbonation as well. Almost no sweetness, has fruit notes, slightly nutty as well. Yeast and citric notes are dominating. Reminded me of Orval without being too similar. Aftertaste is suprisingly bitter, yet not overly dominating. yngwie (5089), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2007 Updated: Jun 29, 2008Bottled. Rating #1500. Ok, so it’s not the best beer to drink celebrating, but it is a quite good one. Pours unclear, with a lot of carbonation and cloudyness in a pale golden body, topped by a nice, creamy, white head. The aroma is fruity, with hops, medicine-like bitter notes, hints of cellar, spices, yellow apples and some alcohol. Quite complex actually, but yet not one of the best. The same goes for the flavor, which is fruity and sweet, with bitterness, spices, yeast and a dash of alcohol. Medium body and a finish with spices and hops. Funny thinking about the fact that this is the least interesting beer from this brewery, yet so good. Rating: 7-4-7-3-14-3.5. (070103)
Bottle. It pours a hazy, yellow-orange body with some floaties and a nice, white head. Grains, pale malt, fruityness and yeast it the aroma. A little spicy note too. Nice sweet and malty flavor with some alcohol notes and a pleasant bitterness. Some herbal notes too. Medium to full body. Bitter, malty and slightly spiced finish. Wondering if I over-rated the beer last time, I did a rerate and found out I didn’t. It really is a good beer. Rating unaltered. (080509)
