Caramel aroma. Nice head and lace. Not particularly fruity but some hint of banana?

Bottle courtesy of fonefan pours hazy golden with foamy white head. Aroma is yeast. First taste is sweet bread with nice carbonation. Clean dry finish. Very well balanced beer.

Thanks to Marisa for sharing this one after my incessant begging for a full year... Golden pour with an absolutely snow white pillowy head. Looked like soft cotton and left beautiful lacing on the glass. High carbonation and a glowing golden color. Nose is yeasty and bready. Quite pleasing. Very balanced on the palate, not overly sweetened like some blonds tend to be and there is a definite subtle hop spiciness on the finish. A very good beer - probably suffers from the comparison with its 2 higher ABV siblings at the same brewery - and one not to be missed.

Bottle shared by dragonstout. At 5 a.m. no less. Who starts drinking at 5 a.m.??? Murky golden pour. Sweet bread like aroma. Taste was a bit hoppy up front, with some fruit, and a spice on the back end that reminded me of fresh ground black pepper. Very good. I enjoyed the spicey kick on the end. Thanks Brian!!!!

What a great way to start the day.Shared with BeerVirgin.Pours a nice cloudy golden color almost like an unfiltered wheat.Has great lacing on the edges of the glass as well as the bottom.Flavor was a mild amount of hops with some graininees and fruit. This was blended well making it enjoyable.Finished of with a nice spicy bite.

Bottle. I’ve been saving this one for my 50th rating! Huge thanks for Ben for bringing this one back for me! Pours hazy, pale yellow with a frothy white head that shows nice lacing. Aroma is crisp, fruity, and a touch of malts. Great beer, there’s a lot going on with the taste, it’s fruity with a hoppy touch and a lightly bitter aftertaste. Wheat, fruit, and something sweet, maybe honey? It manages to do everything without being overwhelming. It’s easy to see why this beer gets the rating it does.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 JMFG (1582) - Florida, USA - JUL 19, 2008
Bottle from trade. Pours a hazy light straw color, with a thin white pillow of foam on top. Rousing produces a thicker even layer that stays for a while. Looks nice. Aroma is of mild sweet malts, a suggestion of spice, and a light yeast presence. The taste is subdued, a smooth malt mix sits nicely on a yeasty twang. Subtle but very enjoyable.
