dornoy (660), Lyngby, Denmark Dec 9, 2004 Very nice and original blonde! After tasting their "12" and "8", I was wondering how good they would be at making a blonde. I was not disappointed. It hasn’t got much head but it leaves a nice lacing on the glass. The body is bright yellow. The flavour is complex : malty, yeasty, with hints of spices and even flowers. It has along finish, the tastes survives pretty long on the tongue. Excellent beer, too bad it’s so rare.

Bottle at home. Another wonderful experience. Very light and sweet. Much less dense in flavour and texture than its darker brethren. Least favourite of the 3 Westies. But, absolutely nothing to complain about. EHSRanders (807), Randers C, Denmark Dec 29, 2008 Rating no. 800. Bottle. Hazy golden colour with large creamy white mostly lasting head. Pours a dark straw color with a big white head. Nose is triscuits and corn chips and pepper. Taste is weak tea, wheat, green pepper, and a slight earthy component with a hint of fruitiness. Odd.
