heather wheat and a mild tough of corieander. this beer has a floral brightness and a nice un even head, the color is akin to a cloudy light cider with haze and tiny but active bubbles. it is at once silky and citric with and ultra fresh wheat flavor. the purity and quility of the components is clear. accross from the abby

Aug 27, 2008 From the bottle at De Vrede, March 2008. This was the best golden light beer I have ever tried. Amazingly complex aroma, perfect balance, great flavor for only 6%. Great fruit, malt, and hops. Citrus, spices, herbs, honey. Wow! I went there expecting much from the 8 and the 12, and was blown away most by this one. Under-rated.

Aug 26, 2008 Deep golden color with full frothy head. Aroma is of slight yeast, touch of fruit and pinch of hops. Nothing too overwhelming. Pleasantly (mild) yeasty flavor, with citrus notes and a balanced hop finish. Just a remarkably balanced beer that is easy to drink--everything is as it ought to be. Not my favorite style of beer, but the best example of its sort I’ve ever had.

Aug 18, 2008 This beer was a bit old (not too old), so it didn’t not have that much hop flavor.
The head is creamy and the beer is golden with some yeast particles. There is a bit of hops in the aroma and some yeast with a bit of caramel. Flavor is bitter with banana notes and spicies and it has a dry finish.

Aug 6, 2008 Bottle (thanks Dedollewaitor!). BB 10/03/07. Yellow to pale golden color with a huge slowly-diminishing frothy white head. Very nice slightly funky aroma with flowers, fruits, citrus, some hops, light spiciness and a bit of yeast. A rather dry flavor with a great house character, fruits (quite a bit of citrus - lemon and some grapefruit mostly), some dust and nice earthy bitter hops as well as light sweeter notes. Medium-bodied. A great characterful Ale.
