Una cerveza excelenta que me pareció toda una joya. Notas en donde destacan las maltas obscuras y frutos secos, ligeramente se perciben los sabores característicos de las levaduras belgas y al retrogusto unas notas deliciosas a caramelo y azucar.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2016 Bottle 33cl. Deep dark brown with a huge fluffy off white head. Aroma of malts, wood and brown sugar. The taste is mildly bitter with sweet undertones. The taste slowly develops into a more bitter affair but changes long after every sip. Touches of grain, sugar, chocolate are all present. The carbonation is always present at the tongue.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2016 Bottle at home, tht 21.05.2018. Cloudy chestnut brown colour, creamy beige head that leaves a nice lacing. Roasted caramel malty, dried and ripe fruits (melon), clove, nutmeg, earthy, dry, quite alcoholic tastewise. Lingering complex malty finish, lasts long. Very well balanced. Good body, lively carbonation, soft mouthfeel.

Cloudy red-brown. Very faint malt aroma. Flavour is bitter with a hit of malt and there’s a good whack of chocolate in there too. Lively on the tongue. Not much of a backtaste. It’s nice but somehow a touch unsubstantial.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2016 Bottle 33cl bought at Schaliënhuis Temse. Pours hazy dark brown with a medium beige creamy head. Nose: roasted malts, hints of maple sirup, chocolate, caramel, dried fruits, alcoholic flavour in my nose, spicy, orange zeste. Taste: slightly sweet taste (maple sirup/dried fruits) with notes of orange zeste and some caramel en chocolate in combination with a creamy feeling and a warm alcoholic feeling with the adding of a spicy touch. The aftertaste is pretty malty, half dry, light bitter notes. Again I did not enjoyed this beer to the fullest...

Brown color, high pillowy head. Aroma cloves, wheat, caramel. Palate watery and carbonation medium. Alcoholic, sweet fondane, milk chocolate. Finish sweeter than I would like. Ok, but nothing exceptional.
