Bottle Pours deep brown with a tall foamy head that hassome great lacing. Has a oak and fruity (grape, pear) and light malt aroma with some sour notes. Malty, caramel, flavor with a yeasty body and fizzy sweet grapes that goes dry as it passes. Full bodied, spicy-fizzy and dries out at the end.

33 cl bottle poured in to a Trappist glass. Dark amber colour with a creamy off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, yeasts, subtle liquorice hints, tart apples, toffee, chocolate, cough drops and light earthy hops. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a creamy to oily texture. Average carbonation. Finishes long lasting slightly dry and fruity yeasty with caramel malts and a gentle burn of alcohol. Excellent Trappist beer. However, I get the same intensity and complexity from a Rochefort 8 to a third of the price.

12 oz. bottle from my Secret Santa. One of my oldest wants. Thanks man! Pours a ruddy brown with a small off white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, caramel and apple notes. Toasted malt, bread, and toffee with a mild yeast spice. Flavor is fruity and dense, sweet but balanced by the yeast. Full bodied, pillowy carbonation. Pretty great.

Un’esperienza di bevuta unica. Ammetto. Pulisce.

Aroma fruta e caramelado. Espuma persistente, cerveja bem equilibrada, dulçor e amargor na medida certa. Sem duvida umas das melhores do mundo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, vintage 2014 (I think) shared by Stevoj, thanks! Dark brown color with shades of ruby, thin beige head. The smells of rich malt, dark chocolate, toffee, and pitted fruit abound. Layers of flavor with a mostly sweet sensation. Toasted malt, caramel, toffee, chocolate… pitted fruit… more and more layers. A wonderful beer experience.

Great beer. I expected a tripel but it was dark BSA. Sweet dark fruits, malt, toffee, bread, caramel, spicy, complex aroma. Lots of carbonation, medium bodied, drinkable. Taste is sweet and balanced. Great again, but I would prefer Pannepot to this.

Bottle 2013-ish thanks to Ole at Oles place. Pours a murky Dark brown with a small, off White head. Aroma has lots of belgian yeast, macaroons, almonds, belgian yeast, slight wheat, slight earthy yeast, overripe fruits, toasted malts, prunes, dates, figs. Taste is super toasty, more nutty, spicy, fruity yeast, sweet, light booze... Overall i would say that this is the worst top 50 beer of Them all.. High carb, light body compared to the abv. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
