Aroma is that of toasty nuts, or a toasty nutty aroma. Color is golden orange. Clear liquid, with a nice, somewhat frothy white head that lasts quite a while.... really doesn’t dissipate. Light, well-balanced bittersweet taste. Medium-bodied brew with a creamy texture. Flat carbonation with a long, bitter finish. This is a unique pub-style ale that is worth a try.

Tap at Smithhouse in LA. Amber color, foamy head, lack of aroma, light malty taste, a little shoppy, decent cream.

Nitro like mouthfeel. Creamy slightly nutty with corn adjunct flavor. Moderately bitter, moist lingering on the tongue. Low to moderate middle body and finish. Corn flavor and hops blend poorly. Would not order again.

From 16oz can to shaker. Pour is a nice gold with a huge foamy white head. Nose is very malty, slight hop. Taste is sour, light bodied and kinda flat. Ok beer.

440ml nitro can into a Guinness glass; served cold. Aroma: A little nutty, a bit of corn. Perhaps some pale hop. Quite mild. Appearance: Clear, dark amber body. Incredibly thick and creamy head. Superb lacing. Taste: Malt-forward, but gentle. Just a kiss of hop bitterness. Definitely creamy. Palate: Smooth and rich. Creamy. Overall: Like a glass of cold milk. Delicious.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a white film of a head that lasts for a good minute and through several sips, somewhat thick foamy lacing clings to the sides of the glass. The smell was a creamy sort of toffee; lightly fruity, somewhat buttery. The taste had a sweet creamy kind of English malty butteriness, burnt toffee aftertaste with a dry finish. The palate was about a light to medium in body and somewhat sessionable. Carbonation is very smooth and seems to be smoothest I’ve ever had for this style, pretty good to me. Overall, this is quite an easy drinking English, but for me would I have this again, unsure, still gotta say, just like the other ales I’ve had from Greene King - fish n’ chips is all I gotta say.

Very creamy as advertised. Pours almost milky, super fine foamy head and dark brown body. Tastes a bit hoppy and bitter. Creamy, somewhat thin mouthfeel.

Copper, with giant creamy off white head. Nose has a bit of caramel. Body is extremely smooth, slightly dry, caramel sweetness.

Pours a dark, bubbly amber, approaching mahogany, with a fine-bubbled light buff head. Crisp, malty aroma has a note of fresh apple, nothing spectacular but still inviting. Flavor is malty, a little fruity, enjoyable if not complex - good for a party, or with a meal. Texture is about average, firm and smooth but not a lot of fizz. Definitely mellow.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2014 Tap: Solid amber body with a little haze to it, creamy looking beige head on top. Looks very inviting. Unfortunately, that’s about all it has going for it. Aroma was mild, slightly bitter & creamy with a faint fruit presence & mild alcohol notes. The flavor gave way to deep, wine-like grape, alcohol, & a finish of shiny metal. Like church wine soaked iron... Yuck! Kind of thin but it had a slightly creamy aspect to it. Not a good beer, tough to finish this one.
