The smooth mellow creaminess is correct. But only from 1810? Common, by the way they dress up the can you would think that the Knights Templars were brewing this stuff in the 13th century. You know before Jacques de Molay was executed. Well maybe another mystery the world has to unravel? Most likely… na. A very nice Irish cream ale, immensely enjoyed, enjoying it right now, as I type!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can. Pours in cool nitro style - slowly rising cloud of bubbles in amber solution ending in thick creamy beige head. Nose is very subdued - some herb notes, toffee and light hint of citrus. Palate tends toward watery, not creamy. Flavor is simple and non-descript - some caramel and buttery diacetyl. Generic hop resin flavors clear the palate and make this drinkable - just a bit of bitterness left on the palate in the finish.

Uma ótima irish cream. Aromática, cor levemente clara, sabor aredondado na boca e de características únicas, além de uma cremosidade ímpar!

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nitro can at shamrock. Once it settles in a glass it has a clear red body with thick creamy white head. Wet grainy oatmeal aroma. Nitro smoothness. Dry bit not very bitter. Very easy to drink but not a lot of flavor. I could drink a lot of these back to back but there’s just not a lot of flavor.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a can, San Diego. Brilliant nitro cascade, I love widgets! Finger head, intensely creamy and delicious and lasts throughout the drink. Weak aroma, sweet and maybe a bit fruity. Pleasant flavor of sweet malts, not too much going on and underpowered. A great session ale, nice to sit down and relax with.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear medium amber with a dark ruby cast. Normal head, lacing and retention after the foamy rush of the nitro widget.
Light nose of caramel with just a hint of earthy hops. As it warms, subtle buttery notes are evident.
Light medium bodied with a very smooth texture that approaches creamy. Under carbonated with no effervescence.
The flavor profile is reasonably intense, not complex and is poorly balanced. It begins with a non-sweet caramel note that is almost covered by grainy undertones. The middle is slightly bitter and has an earthy hop flavor that seems stale. The finish is slightly astringent and that stale hop flavor lingers. Stale hop flavor dominates this one, and not in a good way.
