Keg, pasteurised, regular;
This authentic Irish Ale dates back to 1810 from Co. Wexford. Brewed to an original family recipe using Irish malt and hops, Wexford has a smooth mellow creaminess we believe you will enjoy.

Wexford Irish Cream Ale has a thick, creamy, roiling, off-white head and a clear, copper appearance, with a large cream sheen of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of light, creamy malt and cream, and the flavor is of sweet, lightly-roasted barley malt, sugar, toffee, and cream, with some alcohol and bitterness in the back taste. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Wexford Irish Cream Ale finishes semi-dry, refreshing, mellow, and very drinkable. Overall, this is an excellent beer. RJT

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2014 Not very strong, malty and metallic aroma at first, but later it turns into coffee, fruits, whisky and a little alcohol. The colour of dark amber, small head that is quickly reduced to a ring, and stays for some time in this form. Lightly bitter, just a slight hint of sweetness. Light body, nice and creamy, effectively flat, lightly bitter finish. Not a celebration beer perhaps, but a rather enjoyable, rather drinkable one; very slightly reminiscent of Irish coffee.

Can. Dark amber/slight orange pour. Cream colored head dies quickly but leaves a thin layer for the duration. Very low carbonation. Light nose. This has a thick, creamy mouth feel. Moderate hops linger in the aftertaste a good long time. Flavor is mild and pleasant. This is very enjoyable. Nice job!

It pours slowly and extremely foamy with an abundance of tiny tan bubbles. After a minute or so, the bubbles settle on top of the beer which is a lovely honey amber colored liquid. The head that forms is supper creamy, slightly oily and light tan in color. The lacing slides down the sides of the glass just above the head. It has a pleasant malty aroma of sweet buttered bread and honey. There are light aromatic hops off in the back ground. The palate is very smooth and creamy in texture. Malt flavors taste of buttered bread and soft unsalted pretzel with a light caramel sweetness. It’s so smooth and buttery that it becomes rather bland and watery in the middle. It finishes with a mild herbal hops bitterness and some light mineral/metallic notes.

Can Pours a clear copper color with a nice nitro head and good lacing. Mild aroma with malt, bit of grain and nut. Taste of malt, grain and milk. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, smooth and creamy. Decent beer for the style.

Pours copper and mostly clear with a glacially creamy off-white head. A nice-looking beer. Aroma is corn and malt. Taste is corn and malt as well, plus milky flavors. There is a closing hop bitterness as well. Not the best balance of malt and hop pegged around milk, but it is smooth, drinkable and distinctive. I'd probably prefer a Guinness or a Fuller's ESB.

Tap at Smithhouse in LA. Amber color, foamy head, lack of aroma, light malty taste, a little shoppy, decent cream.

Nitro like mouthfeel. Creamy slightly nutty with corn adjunct flavor. Moderately bitter, moist lingering on the tongue. Low to moderate middle body and finish. Corn flavor and hops blend poorly. Would not order again.
