Carlus12 (361), London, Greater London, England May 12, 2008 Draught @ JDW Penderels Oak, Holborn. Amber colour with off white head. Aroma is hoppy, toffee. Taste is caramel, hops, sweet. Not the best but still drinkable.
bobinlondon (215), Harrow, Greater London, England Jun 16, 2008 Handpulled cask at JDW Harrow on St. Patricks day. Dark brown with lasting off-white head and good carbonation. Malty with a fruity bitterness. No great hop content. A very average beer. cgarvieuk (2302), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 27, 2008 JWD ... crisp clear amber ... quite hoppy ... very fruity ... light sweet malt ... but really nothing special Fin (2164), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Mar 25, 2008 Cask at The Penny Black JDW Bicester, Oxon, 23-03-08 Mid amber in colour, unusual aroma bit chloriney, smooth caramel and bit fruity not really my thing I’m afraid. imdownthepub (3995), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Mar 21, 2008 Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Brown with slight white head. Probably gone a little too far over, but strong fungal, yeasty notes and the GK tea background. Quite ropey unfortunately.
