750ml corked and caged bottles. Havent had a weyerbacher in a while, good to see they fully employ horrible marketing practices. It is a hazed brown-copper pour. Aroma is mild some estery character, dark fruit, and booze. Flavor is spicy with some vinous dark dried fruit, tart, some caramel, autolyzed yeast, and a touch of sweetness. Not horrible but getting there. The body is decent though.

Bomber. Pours a red brown with a tan head and aroma of spices and yeast. Taste is full of spices as well, with yeast, fruits, and the plums coming through into the spiced finish.

Exactly as stated. The dubbel is missing a bit of the standard concept. The scent is heavy on the deep fruit, slight cocoa and vanilla. Really floral like spring cherry blossoms. Thick hazy and brown red. Tap

Pour out of 750 ml bottle, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of red fruit, plum, some caramel, toffee, toast, hints of spice, slight yeasty notes, touch of nutty notes. Poured into a snifter. 4.0 A: Burgundy brown color. Three plus fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is very good and plenty of lacing is left. 4.25 S: The plums in this are absolutely wonderful. Big aroma that perfectly complements the base beer. Blackberry, currants, and figs add in an extra fruity kick. Starts dry but has sweet caramel undertones. Lightly spicy yeastiness with pepper and a hint of clove. Very nice. 4.0 T: Taste is also quite good, but it doesn’t quite match the nose. Fruits mentioned above again with lots of plum. Tangy tartness that wasn’t evident in the nose. Caramel and toasty malts. On the drier side overall. 4.0 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation with a light spritziness. Light on the tongue and super smooth. 4.0 D: Tasty beer that I recommend picking up. ★ 817 characters DavoleBomb, Dec 26, 2013
