Bottle. Really pretty dark ruby with a big off white head. Aroma is yeasty with some dark fruits. Taste has lots of plum up front, yeast and a nutty finish. Some vanilla notes peek out as well. Thick palate with a little carb. Not bad.

Tap at the brewery with commonshawn, rosskyle, and samadouche. 12 oz tulip glass. Beautiful deep amber/brown with a heavily unfiltered vibe. Looks like in a bottle it would sport plenty of sediment. Aroma of dark cherries, plums, and more malty sweetness. Taste is a complex and pretty close rendition to other dubbels from Belgium. Great dark fruit blending with light caramel and toffee notes. Relatively easy to drink especially given the alcohol content. Nice sweet, fruit syrup like finish. Very tasty beer.

It pours a cloudy light brown with reddish hues. There is a light brown head. It has aromas of cherries, malt, and a bit of sour on the nose. The taste features cherries with plums mix into with a sweet and sour malt bill. It has a moderate feel to it with a sour and slightly sweet finish.

Bomber bottle. This was an okay experience but I’m left with a mouth feel full of perfume and flowers. Could have skipped it..

750ml corked and caged bottles. Havent had a weyerbacher in a while, good to see they fully employ horrible marketing practices. It is a hazed brown-copper pour. Aroma is mild some estery character, dark fruit, and booze. Flavor is spicy with some vinous dark dried fruit, tart, some caramel, autolyzed yeast, and a touch of sweetness. Not horrible but getting there. The body is decent though.
