Commercial Description:
Autumn Fest is Weyerbacher's own unique twist on the Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, Autumn Fest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Complex yet wonderfully balanced, and with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, Autumn Fest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It's a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher Autumn Fest (OG 1.062, ABV 6.1%) is generally available in stores September through December.

Copper body with a large tan head. Aroma of caramel. Flavor is mild with light spice and more of the caramel. Maybe a little orange in there also. Not bad, not great.

Clear amber, thick disappearing head, no lace. Aroma of faint malt, wheat, and corn. Very light, full mouthfeel. Tastes malty with slight spiciness. Crispness and citrus flavor on roof of mouth, very faint bitterness on finish. Failry weak and uninteresting overall. Disappointing from an otherwise impressive brewer.

Aroma was of sweet sugar and caramel. Piured a copper/amber with nice carbonation and lacing. Tasted like a heavy oktoberfest, not light and crisp like some of the traditional ones ive had. Needless to say i enjoyed this beer alot and will get it again.

12 oz bottle from Spirits Toms River. Pours an orangey/amber with an average size fizzy light beige head. Aroma is not good, but I am having a hard time placing my finger on it. Notes of indeterminant spices, light orange flavored chocolate, plasticy caramel...like a badly scented plastic toy. Medium bodied with slightly strong carbonation. Malt forward flavor with caramel and biscuit in the front and some nuttiness and slight spice towards the end. Very forgetable beer, sure am I glad I bought a sixpack of this winner, ugh.

Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head that settles to a thin film. The aroma consists of toasted caramel and some earthy hops. The flavor follows suit with the toasted caramel dominating with some earthy hops and spices in the background. Medium bodied, but a touch thin with subtle carbonation and easy drinkability. The finish is crisp and slightly bitter. This one has a decent sweetness to the flavor, but not much else going on. A decent little fest beer.

Bottle: Poured a medium amber color lager with an average head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of dry caramel hops with no discernable hops or many other characteristics. Taste is also dominated by some dry caramel malt. I know this is not the most extreme style out there and it is meant to be drank in large quantities but this one was just a bit too average in all aspects.
