hopscotch (4577), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jun 28, 2002 Updated: Mar 22, 2003This beer rocks. Weyerbacher Brewing Co. is the best thing that ever happened to Easton... with the possible exception of Sheena. egajdzis (3013), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 16, 2007 [2001] Poured a murky purple brown color with a small, light tan head, light lacing on the glass. Aroma of leaher, sherry, sour cherries, a bit of cardboard, and some nuts as well. Taste of light vanilla, old fruit for sure, cherries, lacto bacteria, with a lengthy sour finish. Certainly seems to have become lambicish, and it wasn’t horrible... Huge thanks to jimmack for sharing this last night, I never thought i’d get to try this! Dickinsonbeer (2550), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Mar 6, 2007 Pours a hazy amber, yeasty and muddy, with a fizzy head. Aroma is welches grape soda (thanks to RLB for that description), fruity esters, soy, oxidation, sour notes, cardboardy and metallic. More metal in the flavor, phenolic, old fruit, sour- acetic and lactic giving a wierd vinegar hint and a harsh astringent metallic finish. THis was a fun beer to share at a tasting. Thanks Jason! pivo (2488), Germany Dec 30, 2004 Strong yeasty nose with some corriander and a little dust. Hazy gold and a fluffy head. Sweetish malt front with some candi-sugar. Tight peppery end - very spicy all around. Medium body, decent balance. Whiff of alcohol at the end too. robertsreality (2462), Minnesota, USA Apr 19, 2007 Much Thanks to Dorwart for Sending This Beer. Cloudy Brown with Orange Hues...Sandy Skin.
