3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Scrapersnbeer (977) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 7, 2012
Aroma is mainly grassy lemon with some herbal spices lurking beneath. Sunny lemon yellow. Sweet citric acid taste up front, tart middle and unfortunately dull finish. Slick and quaffable. Weyerbacher bats outside its comfort zone and hits a ringing double.

Poured from a bottle. Pours a hazy straw color with a fizzy white head of foam that dissipates rather quickly. The aroma is zesty oranges with some acidity coming through on top of a strong wheat presence. Taste is loads of bread and just a touch of spice. Orange juice really makes itself known as well. Pretty clean. I can appreciate the effort here. I enjoy it.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 glennmastrange (1884) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - AUG 30, 2012
Bottle. Moderate malt aroma hay, light to moderate hops and yeast of flowers, perfume, and dough, with hints of bubble gum, coriander and clove. head is small, frothy/fizzy, white with fair slippery lacing and mostly diminishing. Color is hazy yellow/amber. Flavor starts moderately to heavily acidic, then finishes moderately acidic an lightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation. Though most of this Witbier is very light and the flavor is a bit flat, there is some deep hop and yeast notes in it.
