Commercial Description:
Blanche is a thirst quenching beer that combines character and flavor with a moderate alcohol content. Just try a bottle. In the nose you'll notice spiciness from the coriander seeds and dried curacao orange peels added during the boil. In the mouth you'll find a mild and refreshing ale with a hint of dryness from the wheat ingredients. A clean finish follows with just a hint of tart spiciness.

Bottle. I’m not sure that the commercial description could be much better. This one pours with almost no color at all and a fluffy head. Nose of corn and spice and flavor is light, crisp, and slightly sweet finishing dry. Nice carbonation of tiny bubbles, which makes for a great palate, although this beer is not full bodied. I like it. It would taste great in the summer!

Bottle from biggcb. Cloudy yellow pour with a nice white head. Aroma is yeasty, spicy, and a tad fruity. Taste is refreshing, yeasty, a bit tart with some flavors of peach, citrus and some apple hints as well. I like this. Underrated.

Thank god for Sam’s sales. A month expired, so $2.99/sixer. That’s right: 50 cents a beer. How could I resist? Here’s the surprise: this is good! Very cloudy light bright gold pour with generous fluffy white head when poured into my magic La Chouffe tulip. Nose offers lemon and orange peel; apple; curacao, clove, coriander and grain. Something in between cardboard and banana. Taste picks up some surprising additional notes, particularly coconut and pineapple. This sucker has pina colada notes to it which are hitting me pretty hard. Well carbonated. I like this and find it quite refreshing. Certainly worth 50 cents!

12 oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and cloudy straw yellow color. Aroma is clove, herbal, grain, yeast. Taste is prominent clove, some pepper, herbal, grain/wheat, some citrus, yeast. Finish alternates sweet/dry. Good carbonation.

Quickly dissipating head, smells of apple with hints of citrus, taste is similar but citrus dominates the apple, smooth, but disappointed. I have no idea where that apple comes from.. I’m assuming the yeast. It’s inappropriate, IMHO.

bottle - Pours light gold with a touch of haze and a thin, quickly dissipating head. It smells mainly of citrus and wheat. The flavor is sweet and citrusy. There’s just a slight hint of spice in there. It’s light bodied and while it’s not really watery, it does taste kind of bland. Not bad.
