Blasphemy is our award winning QUAD aged in bourbon barrels. But not overaged, so we've picked up gentle vanilla oaky notes which complement rather than supercede the complex qualities that already make QUAD such an incredible beer.

750ml bottle @ PBF IX

Pours dark reddish brown with a tiny head. Aroma of aged cellar notes, oak, wood, ripe fruits, yeast and raisins. Taste is smooth, sweet and boozy with some syrup, ripe fruits, raisins and yeast. Finish is sweet, sticky and warming with some oak, wood and stingy whisky. Okay.

2011 vintage thanks to Matt for sharing up at Proof. Deep amber, bordering brown with a small white head. Aroma is on more of a rum aroma, sweet cane syrup, brown sugar, dates, toffee pudding and caramel. Sweet flavor, oh so sweet, cloying. Canít do it.

Bottle. Deep tub with a thick off white head and lots of floaties. Aroma is whiskey, banana and soy sauce. Taste adds a bizarre chicken broth aftertaste and some wood. Thick mouthfeel and substantial booziness. Not a fan.

Pours an amber color. Head quickly dissipates away. Aroma is of malts, prunes, banana, dark fruits, and yeast. Sweet palate. Flavors include malts, raisins, prunes, plum, cherry, slight whiskey, and clove. Leaves a sweeter malt clove finish. Unique.

Not a bad quad! My problem is I drank this brew after having Mexican cake and imperial biscotti break! Need to give it a fair chance and have it again by itself! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours deep amber with a lacking head. Pungent dark fruit aromas as well as yeast. Flavor is packed with dark fruits, licorice, and I actually pick up some tobacco which I usually donít. Really feeling the burn from this one the more I indulge, wonder if thatís the blaspheming Iíll be doing after I finish this.

Poured from bomber into snifter. Aroma is dark fruit, bourbon, and yeast. Tastes of licorice, tobacco, cherries, and bourbon. Big Bodied ale with heavy carbonation. Not bad

750ml bottle pours clear ruby red brown with a small head. Nose is sweet caramel, dark berry, bread, maple, dark fruits, a touch boozy as it warms. Taste is sweet syrupy maple, caramel, bready fruit, booze, raisin, port wine. Finish is sweet malty bread, dark fruit, subtle bourbon. Not sure Iíd call it a true quad, the body wasnít quite there, but decent.

Pours a nice healthy wooden brown with a white head thats quick to diminish. Aroma is banana, nuts, and yeast. The strength of this beer is nicely covered by a nice warm Belgian flavor with malty yeast notes. Very good.

Bottled. Pours, hazy amber with a small, beige head. Aroma of caramel, spice and fruity notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry with alcohol. Medium to full bodied, syrupy to oily texture and soft carb. A very nice quad.
