3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
clear dark brown, wispy beige head,
caramel and chocolate aroma with a huge overpowering bourbon character that adds lots of alcoholic fumes, aroma eventually settles down a bit after an hour or two to hot caramel,
rich hot caramel flavor, lots of fruity sweetness, light spicyness, bourbon character blends in well, turned out better than expected and better than the aroma would indicate,
still hot but the alcohol blends in very well with the fruity character

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Red/golden with a small, but creamy head. The aroma has notes of raisin, wood, vanilla and flowers. The mouthfeel is quite oily. The flavour has notes of raisin, oak, vanilla, warming alcohol, oranges/citrus and flower. The alcohol is a little too dominating, but still it’s a very nice beer! Thank you Steve (Coldbrewky) for this one!

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 c&c from France 44. Pours dark copper with no head. Aromas of dark fruit supported with oak notes. Full bodied. Flavor is sweetish dark fruit, bitterness, oak, bourbon, and I really think butterscotch. Or not. There’s a lot going on - except there’s no real heat impact - even in the gullet. It’s far from sticky, and the oak/bourbon certainly keep the malt at bay. Very very nice ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at the Dilly Deli. Poured clear copper with a large off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Heavy complex caramel, bourbon and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture. Heavy balanced bourbon flavor with a medium bittersweet and small alcohol burn finish of moderate duration. This is a standout beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber poured a clear copper with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of bourbon, oak, vanilla, toffee, fruittiness and light carmel. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bourbon, oak, vanilla, toffee and light fruittiness with a smooth lingering lightly sweet finish.
Kinda disapointed in this one, not as good as Insanity or Heresy.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle... O-Town Throwdown Part Deux... Clear amber ale with a small, white head. Notes of sourmash, caramel and vanilla whirl their way out of the glass and up into my brain. Intoxicating! Boozy, malty flavor with chunks of toffee and medium bourbon followed by hop and alcohol bitterness. Full-bodied and fizzy. Boozy, dry finish.
