Bravo is a Red Wheat Ale clocking in at 6.4% abv. Fermented with American Ale yeast and filtered as well, this uniquely designed wheat beer is slightly nutty on the palate and clean in the finish, a perfect beer for this time of year.

Draft at Capone’s. Poured deep brown with 1-finger off-khaki head. Nose is banana nut bread, Scotch caramelly malt, yeasty spices. Tastes earthy, dunkelweiseny, with a solid malt coupled with some nut, banana, spice, and peaty notes. Fairly rich and complex palate, but this one didn;t blow me away. Still, it is very much worth seeking out.

thanks Dorwart for this! This is very good. Brown color with a mostly white head. Aroma is just like an imitation maple syrup. Flavor is smooth as hell and has good notes of sweet malts, nuts, honey and a honey wheat bread. I really enjoyed this. I wish I had gotten a bigger pour!!

Pre- BCTC-08 campout. Pours a mostly clear deep amber with a thin diminishing head. Aroma is Diacetyl butterscotch, with acetaldehyde green apple and - phenolic and solvent with some burnt toast. Flavor is more butter and acet with doughy wheat, a slick caramel, dried burnt toast, some nutty chocolate and oxidization- cardboard- bland and watery finish. Meh.

[Draft @ Capones] Poured a hazy brownish red color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, nuts, wheat malt, light banana, and some clove as well. Taste of wheat malt, cocoa, nuts, caramel, and a bit of citrus.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2008 Draught at TDR Ex.: Very faint aroma. Smells of butter and a bit of hops. Poured amber/copper/orange in color witha small, dense, creamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor of chocolate, cocoa, cream, toasted malts, nuts, and artificial sweetener. Medium body. Chalky texture. Average carbonation. Dry, chocolate cream finish. Like a Belgian Stout.

Bottle from johnykat. Thanks man! The initial aroma is toasty with notes of chocolate and wheat. Light yeasty sweetness and a touch of spice too. Brown pour with a nice tan head and some decent lacing. Flavors of toasted and chocolate wheat malt. Nice pleasant sweetness, some spice too. Very smooth velvetty body. A nice beer.
