crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Apr 8, 2008 Finally rated a beer I’ve had a dozen times. Cloudy copper pour, medium white head. Aroma is sweet and malty, orange and just lots of sweetness. Flavor is the same big malty punch of sweet caramel, some grapefruit, orange, and a hint of pine. Just too damn sweet and malty though for my liking, I really just want to taste straight hop juice. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Apr 6, 2008 Weyerbacher Double Simcoe IPA

Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Apr 6, 2008 Bottle thanks to degarth at home. Aroma is packed with high alpha acids, citrus butter and toffee malt. Taste is similar, noteable caramalt but completly dominated by citrusy americna hop goodness. LilBeerDoctor (1480), East Setauket, New York, USA Apr 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a large white, creamy head. Aroma and taste of primarily piney hops, some citrus and grapefruit notes. A very drinkable beer. I liked that it was bitter but didn’t leave the bitter after-taste that other beers to do. Double IPA is not my favorite style, but I really liked this beer! Cruzan59 (197), Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 4, 2008 12oz bottle at Niko’s Restaurant, Lebanon, PA...pours amber-orange with slightly off-white head...very floral aroma, citrus rind...flavor much of the same with very pronounced hops, wow...like a few other WBC brews I’ve tasted, the flavor really jumps out at you...would’ve never guessed 9%...really good IPA. imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA Apr 4, 2008 Pours hazy amber with fizzy white head. Aromas of pine, resin, citrus, and some floral notes. Flavor is all hops! Pine and citrus really stand out. Has a not to dry finish and is easily drinkable for 9%. MaltOMeal (642), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA Apr 1, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy, dark amber with a thin, off-white head. The smell is very piney and grapefruit with some alcohol. Taste is pine and grapefruit hops and sweet malt. Mouthfeel is medium-to-thick and creamy with a good, bitter aftertaste and some hints of alcohol. Loved this brew! Balagast (6), USA does not count Mar 31, 2008 Poured from a bottle with a a slightly head. Lots of golden orange color. The taste is very strong of hops with a nice tartness as it finished. The high alcohol content is not even noticeable, making this a very easy to drink beer.
