Commercial Description:
Fast on the heels of our fantasticly reformulated Hops Infusion, our brewers have picked up the gauntlet and brewed a Double IPA using exclusively Simcoe(R) Hops! This west coast Hops was created in 2000 by Select Botanicals, Inc. and carries a fantastic flavor profile abounding with citrusy-grapefruit, piney, resiny notes that pushes this Double IPA over the top. 9.0% ABV in the brew gives it a nice malt foundation as well. Draft and bottles, 12 oz. in PA, 22 oz. out of state (as we have no 6-packs),

Great beer with great hop aroma and hop taste. Very piney to begin with, but the taste of sweet grapefruit is huge at the end. Very dry aftertaste.

From 22oz. bottle. Fresh, grassy, leafy and faintly piney aroma, predominantly hoppy as it should of course be, but does feature some lighter honeyish malt touches in the background. Certainly plenty of Simcoe character here. Medium copper color, lightly hazy, with a sparse, fine head. Very nicely balanced flavor profile for the style, the hops nicely aggressive and flavorful, but the malt presence is toasty, bready, grainy and sweet, particularly as it warms, also featuring some light caramel and finishing with a nicely bitter blend and the very faint addition of alcohol. The hop character throughout is citric, piney, fresh and again grassy, almost weedy. Smooth, lightly effervescent mouthfeel, body is full. Very tasty and not too far in any one direction, yet maintains an accurate portrait of a Double IPA. Certainly worth finding.

Bottle courtesy of alexanderj, shared with kleyland. Pours a nice light amber. Thick, soapy white head that invites you in. Aroma of deep forest pines with a hint of citrus lingering in the background. Thick hopfeel that tingles the senses. Wonderful beer!

cloudy light amber with a creamy white head....heavy citrus aroma like sweet grapefruit, light pine like when you cut down your own Christmas tree at one of those farms 2 hours from home and pay an additional 20 bucks to do it (not being bitter..some of my fondest memories)....great sharp and chewy flavorful bitter bliss flavor...loved this beer the 1st and 2nd and 3rd time..had to rerate it so I wouldn’t forget it..awesome DIPA

Bottle
Appearance :Nice looking pour, large creamy top, tanned with amber clear material below.
Nose:Clean, refreshing, fruity, citric mango like aroma. Bitter sweet ale.
Flavour/Palate: This ale is mighty potent with zounds of high alpha hops placed in it. Malt sweetness is here just buried under off all that. Hop head heaven. This is one of well made extreme brews currently on market.

Notes: Pours a rich, thick apple cider color with a creamy white head. Looks ultra tasty! Smells like flowers; fragrant, rich, complex. Ultra hoppy. Tastes sweet (not too much) strong (smack in the mouth) and more of that exotic flower. Smooth and dry leads to a very easy drinking experience. This is a very tasty beer and for under $5 for a 22, I will definitely try it again.

This is a good beer. Pours out a deep coppery color with a nice biege head. Aroma is very hoppy with grassy and cirtus notes throughout. Flavor smacks you in the face a the big hops and smooths out very nice at the end. WOW this is one the the best IIPAs i have ever drank.

Gold in color with white head and some lacing. Again, aroma and flavor very hoppy. These hops had a really good flavor- strong but manageable, grapefruit, pine and very citric.
