3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The appearance is cloudy amber, with a white head. the aroma is citrus, grapefruit, alcohol. The taste is malt up front with some caramel and citrus, followed by grapefruit and pine. at the very end it finishes with the distinctive taste of the simcoe hops. The palate is heavy, but no over bearing, nice complement with the flavor. Overall this is really good, and its a nice relaxing beer to drink.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle, from base camp in prague. amber with a thin but persistent head; aroma of pine, grapefruit and mango nectar; loads of bitterness, surprisingly dry yet zesty. doesn’t surprise you with the characteristics of its flavour and aroma, just with their intensity

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Couleur cuivre. Bonne amertume en bouche mais peu de persistance. Une IPA dans le sens général du terme. Dans la bonne moyenne mais ne sort pas du lot.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Well bounce bottle pours an orange copper color with low to moderate head. A nice spicy citrusy aroma. A ton of hop particles suspended in the beer. A nice smooth tasting IPA that's not really anything special.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz into large stemmed Ommengang glass. Pours a dark ruby amber and musty brown, looks ugly. Head is small, fades fast, marshmellow brown, 1cm remains and some light lacing on the glass. Aroma is fresh citrus, orange peel, orange spice, booze, grass, and marmlade. Taste is juicy orange, hops, grapefruit, and resinous volumes of the simcoe, which is pungent, zestful and superb. Drinkablility is vibrant and the 9% doesnt dumb down the brew, but it is noticeable. No freshness date on glass, seems to still hold the hop freshness a dipa should obtain. Lots of sediment floating in the brown murky pond of the brew, A nice orange/hop mix lingers in the aftertaste. Nice.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very good ipa. First smell is very pleasant with the citrus notes. The taste is flowery, citrus and has a long lasting bitter aftertaste. It had 9 percent, but it is not boozy at all. On my hotlist of very good imperial ipa's!
