SSSteve (1438), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jul 17, 2008 a murky burnt orange pour under a large creamy beige head. big sweet resiny mandarin scented hops and some touches of bready malt in aroma. surprisingly smooth palate for all those hops and it being 9%. juicy and fruity flavors of big mandarin, pine, peach, grapefruity hops with a malty bready backbone for good measure. well crafted, and welcome to GA. Palidor19 (1194), Brandon, Florida, USA Jul 17, 2008 wohoo!! the initial aroma has a great deal of strong herbal/floral and piny smells with the malts at a medium style but the hops bring it to a everlasting greatness. palate a tad below perfection but the rest makes this a must have. nick76 (1960), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 17, 2008 The aroma is fantastic with those Simco hops and sweet caramel malt. The appearance is amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma and robustly bitter. The palate is smooth. Overall it’s quite nice.
