2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured a light brown color with an off white head. Aroma was of plain malts, not too much outstanding here. Flavor was much the same, very bland and a bit watery

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear amber coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of cardboard, malt, and grass. Light-bodied; acidic taste of malt, metal, English hops, and limes. Aftertaste shows more acidity, metallic flavors, and little else. Overall, an
alright beer but nothing outstanding. I sampled this 12 oz bottle purchased directly from Weyerbacher Brewery in Easton, PA on 21-April-2007 on the Eastern Shore in VA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy copper body with amber overtones. Sizeable beige head, well retained. Fair lacing. Earthy hops dominate an aroma that also showcases caramel malts, brown sugar, dried flowers and must. Flavor is a touch better, with more malt accentuation and moderate bitterness and low acidity. Toffee and bready malts also noted in the flavor. Finishes medium dry and crisp, mellow. Palate is light bodied and balanced.

(bottle - 12 oz) Amber color with a puffy white head. Aroma is bitter with some slight sweetness and caramel notes as well. Flavor begins with some floral hops and a nice bitterness in the middle, with a light touch of caramel and a bitter and clean finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted through most of the glass. Pleasant caramel aroma with some floral notes as well. Somewhat sweet caramel and malt flavor well balanced against some hops bitterness. Somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Very easy to drink. Drank one today wth a Bubba Burger from the BBQ. Great combo.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to Leopold Stoch for this one.
Hazy amber body with a tall, long lasting head of off-white.
Caramel aroma. The flavor starts sweet with some bitterness in the middle and a long caramel finish. Needs some hop dryness to balance out some of this sweetness.
Smooth with plenty of body.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: This beer pours a soft transparent copper color with a very creamy 2 finger off-white head with decent retention. Mediocre lacing.
Smell: It has a good aroma but it is subtle and reserved. After some contemplation I came up with sweet bread and yeast, slight fruity tones and gentle hops.
Taste: Like the smell the taste is gentle and approachable. It is not the most interesting ESB I have ever tasted but it is quite palatable. It seems to have a pretty straight forward bready malt and hop balance until the aftertaste. The aftertaste is a bit odd. There is very little of the bitter I was looking for up front it seems all the bitter is waiting for the finish. I’m not quite sure what to make of this...?
Mouthfeel: This beer has a very light mouthfeel that seems to disappear into nothing through the middle. To its credit it is very smooth.
Drinkability: Overall this is a decent beer but a bit lacking in luster. I would be too bored to have a second but it would be palatable if I was interested so the drinkability is what I’d call "Ho Hum."
Hope this is helpful.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Decent ESB, but no where close to many of the other Weyerbacher brews. Would have liked a bit more bitterness.
