COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its rich malty taste, deliciously full body and clean crisp finish, Weyerbacher ESB is truly a delectable libation. Boasting a fragrant hop aroma and glowing with a reddish-amber color, our ESB is arousing yet well balanced. It's the perfect companion for good friends, good food, or just about any occasion.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear light amber body under a one finger fizzy beige head. A few lazy streams of bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. Aroma is very light with a definate husky/grainy component. A little diacetyl as well. Flavor is pretty thin with some light crystal malt, minimal hop bitterness, and a little of that diacetyl on the finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied and thin with moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, less than impressive, and not the best example of the style.

Thanks again Jeremy for getting me this beer from the brewery! Pours a clear copper color with a thin cream colored head. Kind of sweet, malty aroma. Bitter hops, gentle. Smooth, easy drinking. A decent brew!

Bottle. Nice, sweet aroma escapes the bottle. Looks like a typical Bitter. Flavor is alive with a good blend of hops. A decent bitter I could drink more than once.

Not a huge ESB fan, but this one did me well. It had a nice amber golden pour with a little head. The aroma was very mild and the taste was in the same boat. My favorite ESB so far, due to its mildness.

Fairly pale orange/dark golden body with a dainty white head. Not much aroma at all, just slight essence of generic malts with no hops at all. The flavor is hard for me to take: very watery, yet jolting bitterness. Hardly a well-balanced beer at all. Some crispness in the finish, but also an unpleasant metallic taste

Hazy copper with foamy lace - mild, dry, slightly hopped aroma - has a kind of "yeast from a pouch" homebrew taste to it - dry to start and to finish, with a strangely sweet, fruity middle - not too good.

Has a mild aroma, some malt, feint hops. Pours a light brown. Has a dry flavor, slight maltiness, then dry almost metalic finish.

this beer was very dry and bitter. A little to much so. I think this might have been a decent ESB but it wasn’t very easy to drink. I’ll pass next time
