COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
To honor 14 years of making craft beer we decided to brew a wheat wine. This unfiltered brew is made with over 50% wheat to give it a distinctly spicy character. Enjoy it now, or if you have the patience, give it some time in your cellar. When you are ready, expect to find notes of tart wheat and honey with crisp bitterness and carbonation. Recipe by Head Brewer Chris Wilson and Brewer Jeff Musselman.

Pours a cloudy rusty amber with almost no head-a tiny white lacing. Aroma of candy sugar, warm alcohol, wheat and honey. Clears the sinuses. Taste of candied sugar, honey and wheat. Has a warm alcoholic finish and a bit syrupy.

Bottle Pours a hazy amber with a good off white head. The head is creamy and lasting. Providesw excellent lacing. Has a good aroma of apple, honey, wheat, candy, and raisins. Has a light carbonation. The flavor is decent. Lots of sweet fruits. Well blended and the alcohol is well hiiden. Has a slick texture. The body id full. The finish is good with a plesant aftertaste. I am going to try to age one of these. It is fairly good, but get better with age.

12oz bottle, from Capone’s (Norristown, PA). Pours a deep chestnut color, capped with a small off white head. Aroma of banana candy, honey, wheat, candi sugar and yeast. Wheat is the prominent flavor, with banana, brown sugar, raisin, and alcohol. Medium bodied, with a somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Ends with a huge alcohol burn, and some brown sugar lingering on the palate. This is too hot now. Hopefully it will improve with time.

12oz. Pour is deeper amber with a small off white head. Aromas of candy, sweet fruit, slight piney hops, and caramel. Flavor is full of candy, plum, caramel, and alcohol warmth. This needs to sit for awhile imo. Nice brew but just to angry right now.

pours a muddy orange color. opaque but not dark, even in small volumes. minimal white head. looks thick and syrupy. aroma is nutty wheat, sugar, and more sugar. flavor is interesting, wheat is prominent (unlike some wheat wines) a bit too sweet for my tastes, though the hop levels seems spot on. full syrupy mouth feel, a real teeth coater. alcohol is noticeable only in the light mouth burn and the pronounced post-consumption-stagger.

Bottle pours light amber with a fluffy white head. Spicy aroma and some wheat in there too. A bit hot as far as the alcohol goes. But very sweet and quite smooth for a wheat wine. Slight bitterness in the beer peeks the sweetness. Needs some time to mellow.

Bottle. I found this to be a good choice during a hot summer night. Aroma is candy sugar. Flavor has a sweet malt, yeasty and candy sugar taste. Low hops profile and finishes somewhat grainy. Quite smooth for the style Again good for the summer but will be interesting to see how it ages.

Tap at ACBF. Aroma of gummy candies with Belgian yeast. Flavor seemingly of candi sugar with caramel, sweet upon sweet. Quite syrupy. Again, sweet upon sweet.
