3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle at home from notes. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have floral and citrus hops, grass, pale malts, hint of caramel, the floral nature comes off very soapy on the flavor which I donít care for, mild bitterness, a touch thin, i will not revisit this.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from market square. Clear amber pour with a small white head. Mostly caramel malt nose with a tinge of tropical hops lingering. Flavor is similar with nuttiness and citrus and floral hop faintly there. Bland.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
1/04/2011: Weyerbacher Harvest Ale... Aroma: Soapy blend of floral and citrus (orange) hops; toffee malt. Appearance: Cloudy, orange-amber color; lasting, sudsy beige head; moderate carbonation. Flavor: Toasted toffee; unique malt profile; dry watermelon; moderate bitterness that tastes floral and slightly resiny and earthy, dired citrus peel; dry, bitter finish. Palate: Medium body; a bit oily. Overall: Decent IPA, but itís lacking the fresh, leafy hoppiness that I love and typically associated with Harvest Ales - maybe this bottle is a bit out of date...
12 fl. oz. bottle (6.2% Alc. by Vol) from Jungle Jimís International Market in Fairfield, Ohio. Rating #251 for this beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Moderate malt and hop notes of roasted, caramel, orange and flowers like lavender. Head is small, frothy, off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy medium, amber/orange. Flavor starts slightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a lively carbonation. One of the better beers Iíve had with the word "Harvest" in the name, a nice example of an IPA.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a foggy orange amber with a short-lasting white head. Tastes herbal, earthy, cereal. Herbal, sandy and earthy finish. Nice level of bitterness, there. Somewhat full bodied, slightly sticky and resinous mouthfeel. Refreshing, bitter ale. Liked it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from total wine Sterling. Pours the color of burnished apricot with a thick layer of white foam that leaves a fair amount of lacing. A bit of floral on the nose. Fairly nondeScript on the tongue but with some nice bitterness on the finish. Solid but weyerbacher isnít exactly known for their IPAís.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very hoppy smelling beer with notes old ale and medicinal cabinets. Dark for-an-india copper with fine suspension. Last winter I had this and dodnít realize it was an IPA. That being said, this beer is decidedly bitter, but has a malt backbone that gives it a straight pale aleís character. Almost a merger with the marzen style, though clearly not a lager. Interesting if not the brewerís greatest hit.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a golden orange with a beige head and aroma of fresh hops and citrus. Taste is sweet, of hops, malts, fruits, and citrus with a modestly bitter and long finish. Nice, solid, drinkable IPA.
