Commercial Description:
Hops Infusion exhibits deep malt characteristics- this beer has undeniable character and body. Glowing a deep amber color, Hops Infusion is brewed with seven types of hops. The result is unmistakable-- hop-heavenly flavor with earthy, spicy, sharp citrus notes. Hops Infusion has four times the dry-hopping as our already hoppy IPA.

This beer is decent. This beer has a nice translucent color to it. It also has a nice head sitting on top. This beer is aromatic, but it has that hop smell that I think smells like a mix of hops and soap. I don’t know which specific hop it is, but it is a hop that I don’t like. It is aromatic, which I appreciate, but as I said, there is this one hop I have a hard time liking. This beer is very thin, and I wish it had more of a body to it, but I think this is a noble effort. Nice hop profile. Overall, this beer is on the cusp of being a good beer. For some reason I cannot get into this beer as much as I would like.

Mini growler from Half-Time. Pours a lightly hazed medium dark amber with a medium sized white head which falls off quickly. Light hop aromas with a bit of malt. Slight sweetness on a medium body with fine carbonation leading into a big grapefruit finish. While not bad in any sense, I really wish there was a bit more on the nose and that the finish was a little longer lasting, and slower to develop. The beer sort of rushed by it seems.

Doughy, lemony, hoppy malt aroma with some bandaid phenols in the undertone. Perfunctory label and bottle, golden tan beer which pours with some noticable viscocity. Tangy bitter orange pith/peel flavors, hoppy with some horse blanket aftertones and metal. Not really that sweet. Lighter body than the cold pour suggested. Generally clean enough, but the bitter aftertaste was a bit of a wrestling match. Market Square Liquors, Killearn.

Purchased at Total Wine in Jacksonville. Bit of a let down with the other brew I had, but still, it’s far from bad. Has an orange amber brownish hue, and nice ample head. The nose is hops, grass, earth tones, and mild light fruits. Taste is hoppy, slightly burnt, grassy, and some bitter ends like grapefruit and a small pucker. Balance shifts back and forth from good to, what ya doin? I think if this brew were better balanced, and the bouquet was developed, it would be a real slammer.

12 oz bottle from EZ Liquors. Pours a good looking orange/amber with an average size frothy white head. Aroma is very musty with notes of whole hops, leaves, cereal and some honey sweetness. Medium bodied with strong carbonation and a very bitter finish. Flavors of grapefruit rind, bread, some more citrus rinds. This one is just very bitter on the flavor and finish but lacking on complexity and balance. I will give this one a pass and seek out something better in the future.

Cloudy amber gold pour with little head. Solid hop/earth aromas and a hoppy punch of citrus, pine and caramel. Pretty darn solid brew. Worth another look.

A cloudy apple cider color with a cream-colored sort of thick smooth head that disappears quickly. Leaves a little rimming. Sweet caramel and apricot with some strong hoppy citrus and dank. There is a touch of alcohol in there with some notes of vanilla. The flavor has some fruity caramel and bitter. Some not so great grainyness. A good thickness. Ok balance. Finishes dry and bitter.

Bottle. Poured a hazy orange with an off-white head that left some lasting and light lacing. Aroma found some vegetable with a hop and malt mix background. The flavor had citrus hops with a malt undertone. Medium body and a medium hoppy bitter throughout. Light metallic flavor at first but settles out.
