darn1207 (528), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jul 27, 2008 12oz bottle. a cloudy orange amber pour with a foamy white head that disappears quickly. aroma of hops, spice, pine and citrus. nice even bitterness throughout. lively carbonation. the hops rule this one and give it an earthy, citric, floral taste. good beer. kiefdog (1534), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 27, 2008 12oz bottle courtesy of Sandman 2222. Pours a dark copper color with one finger white head. Good retention. Aroma is earthy with notes of potato, bread, yeast, hops, sour, wet straw. Flavor is citrus and hops with notes of sweet malt, spice, pine and grass. Nose is not particularly good on this one. Light to medium body with a quick, hoppy finish. pintocb (508), Darsville, Georgia, USA Jul 26, 2008 Copper color with nice lacing. Not as much in the nose considering the claim to have four times as much dry hopping. The flavor is way hoppy though, in fact its a little out of balance that way. Drinkable. redlight (1445), Winter Park, Florida, USA Jul 26, 2008 Hints of pine and grapefruit peel on the nose, with some bready aromas. Pours a dark golden color with a thin white head. Strong hop flavor up front, bitter citrus peels, very earthy maybe some columbus hops? Very grassy and piney hop flavors coming through, with some sweet malts poking their little heads out in the finish. Over all a solid IPA. keepersj12 (774), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Jul 25, 2008 better than average IPA. Nice citrus aroma. Flavor is nicely balanced leaning a bit to the bitter side. Nice dry finish. SSSteve (2045), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jul 19, 2008 a clear rusty amber under a medium sized creamy yellowish head. pretty typical ipa aroma of grapefruity hops and a biscuity malt. the biscuity, spicy, malt show up well in the flavor with a citrus bitterness. a good deal of carbonation in this one with a medium body. Hangover (764), Atlanta, USA Jul 18, 2008 Copper pour with a nice creamy tan head. Malty aroma, floral and light citrus hop nose. Medium bodied, nice carbonation. Malty throughout, earthy and bisquit. For seven types of hops they are a bit muted by the strong malt presence in this one. Some citrus, grapefruit, a bit of pine. Hops are there and taste pretty good but it gets thick and malty once warmed. Good though. mcc5468 (102), USA Jul 18, 2008 From a bottle. Deep amber color, almost red. Light head. Nice crisp hop aroma citrus with a hint of pine. Good hop taste - not overpowering but very crisp, again citrus flavor. Very nice dry finish. A pretty darn good IPA.
