Weyerbacher Hops Infusion

In the bottle at the 2009 Crescent Moon Summer Beer Festival. Pours dark amber with a thin white head. This beer has a generous amount of hops, but the long bitter bite on the tongue lasts forever and makes the palate quite harsh. The flavor hops are just too much and the mouthfeel is ruined.

I am high or miss with Weyerbacher and this one is a hit. Not ready to put ahead of Racer 5 or Centennial but will get another for a side by side soon. Crisp, deep flavor with a hop pop.

12oz bottle which unfortunately has been sitting around for too long.... pours a medium apple cider brown with a moderate soapy white head..... aroma of faded citrusy hops and some biscuity malt.... flavors of still fairly apparent citrus hops with a faint bitterness in the finish. malt adds a little sweetness. not that bad considering how long this has been sitting in the fridge for.

12 oz bottle. Hazy amber with an off white head. Citrus, pine aroma with some sugar. Sweet malty base with an average amount of bitterness for an IPA. Medium body, active carbonation and a bit watery on the mouth feel. When I first smelt this I got very excited, but the flavor didn’t quite hold up. Still very good.

Infused with generic one dimensional hops. Sweeter than Simcoe which I like, but still just an above average experience. Not worth the $12.99 a six pack I have to pay to get this. Better selections for better prices out there.

Off-white head over a clear orange amber body. Flowers and hops in the aroma. Moderate hops in the taste and a smooth mouthfeel to back in up. Pretty well-balanced. Got some citrus and a little bit of sweetness in there as well.

Bottle at home (thanks Morten) - shared with Mette. Clear amber - offwhite head. High hoppy, resin, bitterness, grape fruity, malty sweetness, earthy, spicy hoppy. Very nice.

Bottle, weizen glass. Orangy colour, small dissapearing head. Floral aroma, a little bit of maltiness. Smooth but uninteresting mouthfeel. Dry and short finish, bitter and hoppy up front.
