markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA Jun 26, 2008 This beer is a bit disappointing after some of the hype when it came to Florida. The aroma is citrusy with very slight pine notes. Balance of malt and hops, but has a strange finish. I swear it is bread/ biscuity. Good, not great. dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA Jun 19, 2008 pours amber-orange with thin white head, the aroma is very hopy much more than other IPA’s i’ve had, the flavor is very citrusy (lemons, grapefruits) overall i like this but it tends to be a little bitter for my taste Haslinger (640), Syracuse, New York, USA Jun 18, 2008 Bottle, The aroma is hoppy without being overpowering. A good balance of hops and malt. The hops taste is delicious and balanced with an awesome taste. Would buy again smith4498 (825), Miami, Florida, USA Jun 18, 2008 Pours clear orange with big off white head. Sweet grapefruit and orange aromas. Flavor is lots of bitter hops and slight malt sweetness. Medium body with average carbonation. Had a bitter aftertaste that was kind of weird. I was expecting more. I’ll have to revisit this one later. dchmela (1406), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 14, 2008 12oz bottle @ redlight. Thanks to Rose for the suggestion. Copper colored pour with a thin white head. Grapefruit juice, pine aroma. Very spicy hoppy grapefruit juice taste. Lots of bitterness from the good ole’ hops. So many hops that it takes a lot to get any malt in the taste. Bitter hop aftertaste, yet very drinkable. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA Jun 11, 2008 This is very hoppy as you would image. A nice amber color on pour into a tulip glass from the bottle. A great head that sticks a round with some really nice lacing. Hop heavy as I said before. tastes a bit like you put a very bitter pine tree in your mouth - in a good way. I like it but not up there with the great hop monsters but better than half way. PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 9, 2008 Tallahassee, Fl. - Liquor Loft - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper pour, soft white head that leaves sticky lacing. Fresh, pungent hoppy aroma with faint cat urine (in a good way), spruce and mint. Standard IPA flavor with some citrusy grapefruity notes, a bit of mint, some nuttiness. Thickish, non-stinging mouthfeel. I’m liking what I am seeing from this brewer - new to Florida. fattibobatti (246), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 5, 2008 bottle from liquorloft tallahassee, copper in color with a small white head. aroma is very floral, citrus and some pine. taste is pine and resin, floral with a solid sweet malt. great balanced and well hopped ipa.
